Technical details and special materials play a key role in the design of Halti products. Weighing only 100 g, the Flake 100 jacket protects its wearer against the wind and even light rain, and can be folded into its own pocket. Light weight is also ecological because of less use of materials and energy.

Halti specializes in high-quality outdoor and hiking products that stand out among the competitors because of their studied technical details and special materials. Launched in 1976, the Halti brand has become known especially in winter sports, but there are also Halti accessories and clothing for golf, cycling and outdoor recreation, among other uses. The company has devoted a great deal of effort to product development in order to meet professional-level requirements in various sports, and there is also ongoing cooperation with top-level athletes. Approximately one-fifth of Halti’s products are exported.

Weighing only 100 g, the Flake 100 jacket of the special Airlite range of products is literally as light as a snowflake. It protects the wearer against wind and even light rain and it can be packed into its own breast pocket, making it a spare jacket that is easy to take along. The jacket’s bright, distinctive colours and reflective logos and patterns are an increased safety feature. The fabric breathes and ventilation holes under the arms add to the user’s comfort. The longer rear part protects the wearer’s back, while the cut of the arm provides a comfortably loose fit. Many of the jacket’s necessary details, such as zippers and string locks are exceptionally small and thus light. Light weight is also an ecological feature, conserving materials and energy for transport.
