The compact body of the unit is hygienic and also easy to manufacture. Planmeca's manner of placing the patient sideways, even seated if necessary, helps in finding the right position for x-raying. The Planmeca ProOne makes panorama x-ray units available to all dentists. It is reasonably priced, light for easy movement and installation and simple to use. The ProOne is suited to a wide range of spaces and different types of operation. The unit is compact, hygienic and simple to manufacture. The patient is placed sideways in the unit, letting the attendant easily find the right position. This also permits, for example, the x-raying of people in wheelchairs. The distinct graphical user interface provides instructions for x-raying with symbols. Although the radiation level is lower than previously, image quality is excellent, which also makes diagnosis easier.
