Finnish Design Yearbook 08-09 is an exploration of contemporary Finnish design: products, designers and manufacturers.
The articles and interviews illustrate the underlying topical phenomena. Finnish Design Yearbook 08-09 makes an excellent reference book or a business gift.
Finnish Design Yearbook 08-09 is divided into four sections, where designers, researchers and marketing professionals approach the subject from their respective angles:
Design expertise is currently conquering new areas, intermingling and crossing borders.
Design has assumed a new kind of responsibility for the environment.
Design is a sales asset, a tool of differentiation in the markets.
Design is constantly exploring new vistas and creating innovative combinations.
Finnish Design Yearbook 08-09 is designed by the award-winning team dog design, nominated as Graphic Designer of the year 2007. Owing to its high visual standard, the yearbook was also awarded in the Best of the Year 2008 competition for graphic design in Finland, and it was included in the Best-Designed Finnish Books of 2008 collection of the Finnish Book Arts Committee.
