Design Forum Finland will visit the DesignMarch event in Reykjavik 14–17 March with a design popup shop.
The shop, at the well-known Kronkron boutique, will present fashion, jewellery and accessories as well as furniture and interior items from a dozen of Finnish top names such as Mirkka Metsola, Teija Eilola, Hanna Sarén, Klaus Haapaniemi and One Nordic.
These Finnish designers will now bring their original ideas to the Icelandic design and fashion scene, to Laugavegur Street in downtown Reykjavik. Besides the popup shop, Finnish design will be seen in several other design events. Finnish and Icelandic jewellery design is on show at the Nordic House and the Museum of Design and Applied Arts will exhibit, among others, works by designer Harri Koskinen, one of the receivers of the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize.
