DESIGN FORUM TALK

DESIGN FORUM talks are aimed at Finnish SMEs looking for competitiveness and growth. Through case presentations and discussions, the events give information about the utilization of design knowhow on various areas of business.

DESIGN FORUM DATE

DESIGN FORUM dates are expert-led discussions about topical themes and for networking. They are aimed at the members of Design Forum Finland and Finnish SMEs looking for competitiveness and growth.

CARBON SINK DESIGN STUDIO

Students and professionals of the forest-based bio fields and creative fields joined forces in the Carbon Sink Design Studio project where the aim was in creating new business and work around bio products and design. It was a multidisciplinary joint project of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Tampere and Lahti, and Design Forum Finland. The results of this two-year project were presented at Helsinki Design Week in 2017.

International Projects

The international projects of Design Forum Finland aim at increasing the export of designed products and design expertise. They unite various actors from companies and individual designers to public bodies both in Finland and abroad. The products of Finnish design and related technologies and skills provide increasingly broader visibility and promote the internationalization of business. A strong message of the Finnish innovation society and its creative industries is presented by these projects.

eCoDeSiGN CirCLe

EcoDesign Circle: Ecodesign as driver of innovation in the Baltic Sea Region is a three-year (2016–2019) development project partly funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme of the European Union. The project is for developing circular economy and related business, research and educational activities with the means of design and design thinking.
