DESIGN FORUM Talk <3 Circular Economy

13 September 2018 Allas Sea Pool, Helsinki

Design Forum Talk <3 Circular Economy Day focused on the circular economy, its business models and circular design. In the morning, there were expert talks about sustainable growth and circular business models as well as case examples from companies that are already using design as a strategic tool for circular businesses.

In the afternoon, the experiences and benefits of the EcoDesign Sprint programme were presented. EcoDesign Sprint is an intensive 3-day training and acceleration programme targeted at SMEs and design agencies. For the SMEs, the Sprint is a concrete and rapid service/product development process furthering the company’s strategic goals. For the design agencies, the Sprint provides a great opportunity to learn and embed circular design principles into their own work. EcoDesign Sprint has been developed as part of the EcoDesign Circle project by Design Forum Finland.
