The 20-year-old Design Forum Shop continues with a series of new innovations. Starting February, the shop-in-shop concept first published in December 2011 introduces light and lighting solutions. This time, included brands are Saas Instruments, Lundia, Secto Design, Tunto and Selki-Asema.
In addition to these five design companies, Design Forum Shop presents a comprehensive selection of fresh and innovative lighting solutions by leading Finnish lamp and lighting designers, including Eero Aarnio, Tapio Anttila, Jonas Hakaniemi, Tuukka Halonen, Susan Elo, Tuomas Kohvakka, Ville Kokkonen, Isa Kolehmainen, Jukka Korpihete, Harri Koskinen, Camilla Moberg, Timo Niskanen, Katriina Nuutinen, Irina Pått, Eero Sairanen, Elizabeth Salonen, Kirsti Taiviola and Petri Vainio.
For two months, the shop window will be host for a unique light art series. Every two weeks a new piece of light art is introduced, starting with a piece by &Bros and followed by Jukka Korpihete. In March, featured artists are Mikko Paakkanen and Järvi & Ruoho. In April and May the shop-in-shops feature Fashion at Design Forum Shop, introducing around 15 interesting Finnish fashion designers. After fashion, the program continues with glass, children and in autumn, shoes.
