The partners of EcoDesign Circle 4.0 met in November 2019 at Gdynia Design Centre, Poland. In these regular partner meetings, current affairs of the project are discussed, future plans are processed and the schedule is checked.
In this second meeting of the partners, the work focused on developing and coordinating the tools created earlier, among other issues. We also made plans of how to reach political actors and thus increase the impact of the project. EcoDesign Circle project came to an end in August 2019; the tools that were created in it, EcoDesign Learning Factory, EcoDesign Audit and EcoDesign Sprint, will be honed to an even more functioning set. Together they will form a comprehensive learning path of the circular economy for companies. The aim is to aid companies in moving towards circular business models.
In between the sessions we also visited The Future Living exhibition on show at Gdynia Design Centre. The exhibition studies the challenges and new opportunities of sustainable development in Europe. It also reflects how we could further develop cities and communities widely interacting with each other and the surrounding nature. How could we further the attainment of global emission cuts, and at the same time create a frame of reference for good living?
