SUSTAINORDIC launched its second annual report The Nordic Report 02 on 5 February in Stockholm, Sweden.
SUSTAINORDIC is a network and platform for promoting sustainable consumption and production in the Nordic countries in accordance with UN Global Goal 12 of Agenda 2030. The project showcases good Nordic examples of sustainable production and consumption and encourages the development of national policies in the field.
Participating stakeholders are ArkDes and Form/Design Center from Sweden, Design Forum Finland, DOGA from Norway, Danish Design Center, and Iceland Design Centre. The project is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
The Nordic Report 01 was published last autumn and now it’s time for the second report. Again, it presents Nordic examples of sustainable production and consumption. The perspectives are industrial, academic and political, and the topics include bio economics and circular economy, responsible procurement and cross-disciplinary cooperation. The aim is to show how the change towards a more sustainable way of living is possible and already an everyday issue in several countries, cities and companies. The Nordic values – democracy, transparency, diversity, participation and equality – are a good platform to achieve development with a future.
The design of the book is by Nanna Göransson and Jakob Trollbäck / The New Division.
